Tuition Information
Most classes meet once a week, on a semester basis of 16 lessons 1st semester, 18 lessons 2nd semester. An annual $15 non-refundable registration fee per student is required.
Payment Plan A - Full Payment the first week of classes entitles you to a 5% reduction in all technique class tuition.
Payment Plan B - 1st semester: 1/2 payment due upon registration plus registration fee. 2nd payment due by Oct. 15th. Costume deposit due by last class in December.
2nd semester: 1/2 payment due the week of Jan. 2nd. 2nd payment due by March 15th.
All accounts must be paid in full for Semester 1 by December 31st and for Semester 2 by May 31st.
For a nominal fee, payment can be set up on an individual basis.
Late payments are subject to a $10 fee, automatically charged to your account. There is a $20 service charge on all returned checks. Any unpaid balances, at the end of the semester, may result in held costumes/pictures/videos which may affect class participation, competition or show participation. All accounts 30 days in arrears are subject to collection.

Students must be in good standing financially to take privates. In addition to the private duo and trio instruction, the student must be involved in the Accelerated Technique Program and participate in a competition group. (pageant instruction excluded).
Checks should be made payable to Barbara Ann's School of Dance and mailed or delivered to 898 East High Street, Lexington, KY 40502. To help properly record your payment, please include student's name with all payments. All major credit cards are accepted.
Refunds can be given for full months missed, but not partial months. The office must receive cancellation notice in writing, prior to any billing adjustment.
Family Discounts - Prices and Payments
Applies to
families whose children take more than one class per week or who have more than one child taking classes (Accelerated Program not included). Prices are for one semester.
- 1st semester: 1 hour: 1 child = $150 per, 2 children = $140 per, 3 or more = $130 per
- 2nd semester: 1 hour: 1 child = $170 per, 2 children = $160 per, 3 or more = $150 per
3-Lesson Trial
We offer a 3-lesson trial to all students for $50.00. It's a wonderful way to try a new class or for new students to preview our classes and Studio. If, after the 3 consecutive lessons, he or she wishes to continue, the trial fee will be applied to full tuition. If the student wishes to drop the class, they are under no further obligation.
