Skills Review 2008

Students in Grades 6th and above:  Wednesday, August 6th

        5:30-6:30  Ballet

        6:30-7:30  Jazz

        7:30-8:30  Tap

Cost will be $25

Required attire is:     Black leotard

                                      Pink Tights

                                      Hair in a bun

                                      Appropriate dance shoes

 

Students in Grades 4th - 7th: Monday, August 11

        5:30-6:30  Ballet

        6:30-7:30  Jazz

        7:30-8:30  Tap

Those students in grades 6 and 7 can either attend one or both skills reviews.  Each session will be $25.

 

STUDIO INFORMATION 2008-2009

Parent Meeting for all prospective Pre-Accelerated, Pre-Accelerated Plus and Accelerated

Students in grades 4th - 7th will be on Sunday, August 10 from 4-6pm.

 

Parent Meeting for all Accelerated students in grades 6 and above and prospective students will be on Sunday,

August 10 from 6:30-8:30pm. 

 

If your child falls under both categories you can pick which meeting to attend.  There will be important information

about class structure, technique classes and competition level classes.

Clemmy Ann will be happy to answer all parent questions at the meetings on August 10.  See you then.

 

Class Placement

Everyone interested in the Pre-Accelerated, Pre-Accelerated Plus and the Accelerated Program in grades 4-7 needs to attend.

Friday, August 15   4:30-5:00pm     Warm-up

                                    5:00-6:00pm     Ballet

                                    6:00-7:00pm     Jazz

                                    7:00-8:00pm     Tap and Wrap-up

Attire should be:     Black leotard

                                    Pink Tights

                                    Hair in Bun   

                                    Appropriate dance shoes

Placement posted on the front door of studio and BASD website on Sunday, August 17.

Classes begin August 20.

 

ALL students interested in the Accelerated Program in 6th grade and above class placement

will be on Saturday, August 16.

                            9:30-10:00 am       Warm-up

                            10:00-12:00pm      Ballet

                            12:00-1:00              Lunch (Bring your own)

                            1:00-3:00                Jazz

                            3:00-5:00                Tap and Wrap-up

This year there will be Four levels of Technique Classes.

                    Senior Level   Monday and Wednesday

                    Apprentice Level  Monday and Wednesday

                    Junior Level        Tuesday and Thursday

                    Pre-Accelerated Plus  Tuesday and Thursday
